I think that I tend to not look backwards too much. Not sure how truthful that is, but it did hit me a few days back that I really hadn't analyzed last year much. I had seen a few posts saying GOOD riddance to 2014 which made me start thinking how it truly was a pretty darn good year in our household.
As I get older, I guess, I've become more accepting of friends passing and tragedies. I'm realizing that each day that passes without bad news makes for a good day.
So simple days count. When you can just get up, go to work, come home to quiet, work a little harder, play once in a while...
But as I got to thinking about it, last year was even a little more eventful. And, while I have shared all these things previously, I feel that it just wouldn't be right to not pay thanks to a prosperous past year with a little blog post to go down memory lane.
So last year in review.... a truly great year.
January: Took me to market in Denver and Dallas ~ GO BRONCOS!
it was full of basketball
and some clogging, of course
and the year wouldn't be complete without a Laurel over Central WIN!
Dan continued to get into his bball groove... we watched A LOT of basketball last year!
and it wouldn't be a year without the cousin Krafts'!
And lets not forget Anna was chosen for a Merit Heifer! Meet Miss Chrissy!
February:
What do you think? ~ MORE BALL!
It gets a little quieter and more humble as Dan is taken out of the game with his injury ~! Must admit still wondering how he would have done if he hadn't got hurt! So darn much fun to watch him play!

March:
The season gets close to coming to an end.

And as the bball year ended, we will always wonder if we could have won if Dan wouldn't have got hurt! BUT WHAT GREAT MEMORIES WERE MADE!
The ditch broke from all the melting and ice jams.

May:
Graduation and more graduation...oh and lots of branding
and a true party of a lifetime~ where I must say I never wrote about but have to admit although we were missing a few friends from home ALL MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WERE THERE!!!!
and it just got better and better as the night went on! DANG I WISH I HAD TAKEN MORE PICTURES!!!! Can't even begin to say what a great night we had...As a very weird side note that day just so would have been Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary! VERY FITTING I THINK! I just can't even begin to thank all of our family and friends who came out to make this night so memorable and oh so very special!!!!
and then like that they made it!
Just like that the first half of the year was almost over!
And, the second half wasn't nearly as exciting...more to come tomorrow.
